JVC is a digi-camera, I do not know the model (the Site) is stupid and inexplicable, Google and Yahoo and found nothing! I wonder if Microsoft has a driver Plug'n'Play standard USB digital camera. Who can help that would be great! Thank you!

Windows XP is not compatible with many digital camera driver in the operating system - I found the hard way. Often you get the message as "generic camera - contact the manufacturer for more information»
I propose that we look at the WWW site of the JVC camera, and load the driver. I prefer the drivers of the camera to my laptop to keep and use a reader to "download card images or directly via e-mail or ....
I assume you have got problems to connect the camera and try to keep images from the camera.
It is best to buy a USB card reader. Instead of connecting the device to the USB port on your computer, connect the USB card reader. Then, you insert the memory card into the card reader where you want to transfer images. It is much better than connecting the camera.
IIR XP operating system installed, and then locate the driver. Do not worry.
If you have not installed on Windows XP, you can go to the website of JVC to. I believe that you will find the necessary drivers.
